Brooklyn based novelist Hannah Tinti is set to make a big splash in 2017 after her novel The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley is released April 6 with Tinder Press.

Although she released her debut novel The Good Thief in 2009 and short story collection Animal Crackers in 2005, The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley will see Tinti breaking into the UK market with a story that follows title character Samuel as his criminal past spills into his daughter Leo's life. The novel, a coming of age novel which explores redemption, revenge and what it means to be a hero, was summed up effectively by author Ann Patchett as 'One part Quentin Tarantino, one part Scheherazade, twelve parts wild innovation'.
